Do you publish all the comments?

DH & I have set up a travel blog.
I was really excited when we got some nice comments off people we didn't know, until DH pointed out they were just getting their page ranking up (or something?) so he deleted them, then we got more and I'm tempted to approve them - they say nice things

What do you do? Just delete all comments with a weblink?

If it's an ad I do.

Most of mine are either genuine (they'd like me to comment and visit their blogs, but who wouldn't?) or Chinese!

Yes unless they're spam. Blogging is about community - you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours - go on their blog and thank them for linking to your blog - with a link of course!

I hadn't thought about it like that, we just set it up to keep friends/family up to date with our travels, not thinking other people would read it iyswim.

I'm just going to keep approving them

I've now requested that people don't post links to their giveaways and competitions on my blog in the comments - it's rude.

However,I don't mind people leaving links to their blogs, so long as they leave a relevant comment about the actual post too.
