Running the Cardiff Half Marathon for Camille's Appeal

Wish me luck! I've got a lot of training in front of me, but I'm looking forward to the challenge (from this side of 5 month's training, anyway )

If you can a few spare £££ to sponsor me, I'd be very grateful. I promise to give it my all.

How's your training going Jelly? When's the race?

I am finding I'm going in fits and starts, sometimes it's really tough going and other times I have robot legs!!

I was thinking of you as I was out running this morn.

Re: Running the Cardiff Half Marathon for Camille's Appeal

Race is October 17th. Training going really well, thanks Tomorrow is the start of week 6. I'm really enjoying pushing myself, and loving how quickly I have seen my fitness and stamina improve.

Signing up for the race is definitely the motivation I needed to run more. It's hard, but I am relishing the challenge.

I've just seen you're doing one next month
How is your training going? Is it a stretch for you, or were you a distance runner anyway?

    Any tips greatly appreciated!

Re: Running the Cardiff Half Marathon for Camille's Appeal

I'm nearly there with my fundraising for Camille's Appeal. I'd love to get it all before next Sunday, when I'm running the Cardiff Half Marathon.

If anyone has a few £££ they'd like to donate to the cause, I would be very appreciative.

I'm both nervous and excited. I've never done anything like this before but felt the need to push myself in order to do something positive.

    Think of me next Sunday

Good luck Jelly. I`m still recovering from my 10K last weekend! A half marathon is a huge achievement. All the best. :o)

I've got some mates running in that and I think I'll go and watch it. Will you be all dressed up with your name on? And will you have 'Jelly' on your top?
