Argh help, booked flight as Mr instead of Mrs AR

I'm just printing out my boarding passes for tomorrow and have realised my name has MR before it, not MRS.

Do you think this will be a problem?????

    ARGH!!!!!

Phone them to see if they can sort it. Good luck

I refuse to settle for something less than great. And if it takes a lifetime, then that's how long I'll wait

I want to say no and not stress you out, but I have read of numerous cases where it has been a problem and it has been a costly error unfortunately.

Who are you flying with, is it a cheapy airline?

It says it will be 25 for a name change each way that's more than my flight cost. Do you think this counts as a name change??

I'm wondering if its worth gambling turning up and playing dumb?

    ETA yes easyjet.

I would turn up tbh and just *pretend* that it was their mistake and not yours !.

I'm not sure. The cases that I have seen (always Ryanair, Easyjet etc), when people have left it until the airport it has cost heaps as the airline have charged them basically cancel and then rebook the flights, at the current price. But now I am not sure whether those have been title related or actual name mistakes.

I don't know. If it were me I would pay the 25 each way because I am a total worry wart, but you might get away with it if you don't, who knows?

I'm sorry if i sound doom and gloom. I hope it works out ok xxx

I would check the original confirmation email they sent you, if you still have it, to see what title is on that. That may show you whether it was your mistake or theirs, and decide what to do from there. Good luck!

    It is my mistake

I've decided to phone up and check as I'll not sleep otherwise and I have to leave the house at 5am as it is!

It says on their website it is "not a problem" to change the title or fix a spelling mistake... don't know if it costs though!

    On hold....

Hurray! My other suggestion would have been to dress as a man, but not sure they'd fall for that!

DH and I were discussing if a sex change was a bigger or smaller deal to easyjet than a name change

I'd have had to dress as a man all weekend as i'm only there one night and travelling light! that would have been interesting. Unless I dressed as a drag queen!

It wouldn't have mattered anyway! The name (ie first name and surname) in your passport just has to match the ticket, what you choose to call yourself Mr/Mrs/Miss etc doesn't matter as its not on your passport.

I've worked in the travel industry for 17 year and have made a few typos like that its NEVER been a problem

I'm glad you got it sorted and have peace of mind though have a fab trip!

Glad it's sorted but I can't see how it would make any difference, the name on the ticket needs to match that on the passport and the passport doesn't have a title in it.
