This is very much in the forefront of my mind. I am planning on having another. We have decided to wait until G is three though, partly because we are enjoying time alone with her but also because I need to psych myself up for pregnancy again after last time

If you'd asked me this question yesterday I'd definately have said NO WAY HOSE'

But, yes I'm planning on having just the one more. We had been talking about TTC at the end of this summer so that by the time the new baby arrives Lorna will be almost 3.

That would suit is financially as we wouldn't have to pay for 2 lots of nursery fees, Lorna would get a certain amount free from council funding. Lorna would also be able to do most things for herself by this age and fingers crossed would be potty trained too but if not, it's not such a hassel. At least she's be able to feed herself and help mummy a bit more with the new baby.

    What Jane said....

We're planning on trying towards the end of summer and hopefully have a bub by the time Lexie is just about 3 or just turned 3. I blow hot and cold over the whole thing though.

If it doesn't happen for any reason, I'll be sad but I definitely hit the jackpot with Lexie so I'll count my blessings.

I've got so many mates just now who've recently popped or just about to that it's hard not to be broody.

I hope so, if I'm lucky enough. It won't be for a while though for a variety of reasons. Maybe a couple of years time.

I want another when Liam is about three. So that he'll be old enough to walk confidently when I'm pregnant (can't be carrying him around with SPD!), do quite a bit for himself and if I have a bambino who is up 5 times a night I don't have to feel guilty that lack of sleep will be affecting Liam's performance at school (if I had put off another baby for longer than that).

So at the moment I reckon we'll be ttc again in 13 months time, when Liam turns two.

Well obviously you know my answer to this
We always wanted two (well, I quite like the idea of three but DH is against it and now we're going to have one of each I won't have any powerful arguments....)
Like others have said, I wanted to wait until I knew I could cope with a bump and a baby. I had bad SPD with James (though it's not so bad this time round) and the thought of carrying a non mobile or tottery baby around with that was enough to put me off. James will be starting nursery in January (if we've moved by then) and I'm off work until April next year so we'll all get settled in to the new routine before I go back to work (well that's the theory!).
The thing is, I'm not sure there's ever a "right" time - children are constantly changing and whilst James is quite independent at the moment I'm sure there's a new set of challenges around the corner, baby or no baby. I guess we all just adapt and work through whatever decision we make
Right, going to stop waffling and go shower now

    No way hose.

I am very happy with Ellis and I do not even think about having another one. TBH I don't even get broody.

I was so put off by having Ellis, I don't think I could even contempalte doing it again. I know they say you never have 2 births the same, but I am not going to take a chance.

Mind you I am 28 now, so maybe when I hit the big 30 I will change my mind

I would love another one - but not yet! I too want Maisie to be about 3 when a new baby comes along.

I think I'd like another girl, but only because I know nothing about boys.
