Making Cakes With Kids

Is the MOST stressful, mess making, thing ever!! Why do I ever say to Maddy 'Lets make a cake' I should be bloody sectioned if I ever say it again!

And to top it off none of the feckin things are edible and Maddy doesnt even like cake

The sponge baking in the oven better flaming work today or Im going to be VERY annoyed.

I hear ya!!!

Mine are just that little bit too little yet - we have done it a few times and it's been lovely, but generally it's much more hassle than it's worth!

I find flapjacks are the best to make at the mo- easy peasy. Can withstand vigourous stirring and they can eat the mixture and ingredients if they want to .

Hope the cake's worth it!
