Biting herself :0(

Over the last week or so, I've noticed that Elise bites herself on the hand or arm when she gets over-excited, or really angry. She had the teeth marks on her arm for 2 days the first time I saw her do it. Has anyone else had experience of this?

This is actually something I used to do

, but only when extremely angry as an adult (and not knowing what else to do with the anger), not as a toddler. But I haven't done it since she's been born, so it's not like she's copying, but maybe she does get it from me?

I'm hoping that, like the pinching and scratching, it's just a phase

Suzie, LO's like to experience with everything, tasting disgusting things is one of them, hurting themselves is another.M used to bang his head very hard on the wall, I have never done that but he seemed to enjoy it somehow

and did it for monhs.Agressivity towards themselves or others is normal with toddlers.
