v quick - how long to cook home made burgers in the oven?
I just made some home made burgers with the girls. How long do they take to cook?

If they are about an inch or so thick, around 18 mins on a medium hot grill (turn half way through) should be fine.

I dry fry them in a grill pan on the hob, about 4 to 5 mins each side.

I wouldn't cook them in the oven, they need to brown on the outside otherwise I think they would be a bit odd.
I fry them (or grill) for 5 mins a side, same as Minky.

Oh they're fine in the oven, they go nice and brown here!
About 200 for about 15-20 minutes. We have them quite thick/big though. 500g makes 4 burgers here

OK. They seemed a bit sloppy (followed a kids recipe), which is why I was going to do them in the oven. I'll see if I can keep them together enough to fry them. Thanks.

ETA: ah ok. I'll keep them in the oven. They're pretty small (well most are) as Elena made them and she's not into big portions (her 2 yr old sister eats twice as much - lol)
Thanks
