feck I've just realised I can't remember anything!

Right well I've finally started packing my hospital bag (yes still totally in denial - needless to say I started and then haven't bothered finishing ) and was picking out some things to take to the hospital for bubbajack (all hand me downs from a friend )

Anyway - I have NO idea what tiny babies wear

In hospital, will he wear a vest AND a babygro? And swaddled in a blanket? Hat or no hat?

At this time of year do newborns always wear a vest and a babygro and a cardigan?????????

god it's so easy with Hettie as she can now tell me whether she's too hot or she's too cold

    HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

    Thanks

    When are you due?

jack was born in April and he wore a vest and a sleepsuit in Hospital and a hat!

Outside today he was wearing vest, long sleeve t-shirt and a cardigan. So Id say newborn would need cardigan and hat for outside definately at mo but not inside Hospital as they tend to be hot?!

In hospital both my babies just wore a vest and socks (and scratch mitts) as it was so hot.

For outside in March I had a sleepsuit (and vest) and coat with hat for DD1 and for DD2 in August I just popped a sleepsuit (and vest) on her with a hat as it was a breezy day. Then I covered the car seat with a blanket.
....she would have been nice looking if she hadn't been wearing a look that suggested there was a nasty smell under her nose..........

    Just for Noo Noo:

Xander wore a babygrow and a tee shirt and went home in a little cardi/jacket with the hood up and a blanket over him in the car.

    Hospitals are hot places!

I had to feed a friends 9 week old baby last week and I was about what to do! Luckily it all came back quite quickly and it will do for you.

Do I have to find a few 'this side up' stickers for you?

remember that hospitals tend to be very hot! Dylan was born mid December and it was always like an oven in the hospital....but he still wore a vest and babygro all the time.

God, next week It could be any day now really!!! (you don't want to hear that, do you?!

What, tiring and makes your bits hurt?

Yep sounds pretty similar to me!

I am no help as Dan is even older than Hettie, so have actually forgotten more if possible. But I would say that as hospitals are v hot then just a vest OR a babygrow ould be fine, but once you get home and are out and about then he prob needs both.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited for you !!!!!
