white marks on nails..anyones toddler had this??

Jack has all of these white marks on his nails looks like i have painted some of them with white nail varnish....he is not a great eater but does like his milk and yoghurts etc so dont think it is a calcium deficiency anyone had this with their lo??

Funny I've just noticed my DS has a few on his big toe. He has milk, cheese and yoghurt til it's coming out of his ears so

It can sometimes just be a result of a knock or bang though. Matty has a couple on his fingers where they accidentally got trapped in the kitchen door by his big sister

I used to get them on my nails all the time as a toddler/kid, even teenager. We were force-fed milk 3 times a day so certainly not a calcium deficiency! It's slowly disappeared over the years, I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Thanks for the replies...google suggested calcium deficiency or zinc deficiency ...memo to self step away from google will just keep an eye and hope it goes
