Re: Redken Smooth Down
Dita I'm another huge huge All soft fan although haven't used the leave in conditioner or the whip stuff - I've always used Kiehls Silk Groom but mine's running out so maybe I'll try this

I did try the Smooth Down range but have to say I went back to All Soft
I think Redken though is easily the best range of shampoos
eta - thanks for the tip for the site as I need some more of the tub of All Soft heavy cream conditioner
(Brill brill product)

Re: Redken Smooth Down
I don't actually use the shampoos - I'm happy with Aveda - but the conditioner is the best leave-in I've tried and smells fab, too
Hope the whip is good

Re: Redken Smooth Down
I use the Velvet Whip thing and love it. My hair is long, fine and wavy and there's lots of it, and the Velvet Whip leaves it smooth and soft. As Dita says you only need to use the tiniest amount, too.

Re: Redken Smooth Down
Ohhh let me know what you think Dita - glad you got free del

I was choosing bet All Soft and Smooth Down - I've use AS before so thought I'd give this a whirl...
Dita do you use the leave in after ordinary conditioner? Leave ins don't tend to work with me - I have a Kiehls one which is useless, though made my sister's PV-esque curls amazing
I'm planning to try Osis Air Pomade next - really fine mist wax that gives a bit of definition without weighing down your hair or making it sticky, which I can't bare
- main reason I rarely use products!

Re: Redken Smooth Down
Has anyone used the anti snap leave in treatment? am basket dancing with this or should i treat myself to AS shampoo/conditioner??
Since having my hair highlighted at a different salon i have noticed breakage :(
I cant afford both and am soooo undecided (can put other on xmas list

I've never tried Anti snap, though it seems to get good reviews.

Re: Redken Smooth Down
Forgot to report back
I think it's identical to the All Soft leave-in conditioner so I'm really happy with it. Will be posting here in another 4 years when I've run out
I don't tend to use a regular conditioner at all tbh, I'm far too lazy to rinse it out properly
My hair is so thick, and my shower isn't very powerful, so it takes at least 5 minutes to properly rinse the shampoo out. I so cba do that again with conditioner
Every so often (like, twice a year) I'll use a deep conditioning treatment or masque. I'm VERY low maintenance when it comes to haircare/skincare/makeup etc
