. Disney Fairies, Tinkerbell etc - what age?

Just doing a bit of Christmas Shopping

OK, so our niece is mad into Disney Princesses. Which unfortunately means that I can't get her anything Disney Princess as she will already Have It All

So I wondered about Disney Fairies. There is a Tinkerball DVD and various other bits and bobs. Can anyone confirm what age these are appropriate for? And whether it is likely that a mother who is fine with the Princesses would be fine with the Fairies (just noticing the tiny little skirts and high heels etc)

Any thoughts anyone? She will be 3.5 by Christmas, seems to like older toys though than J who will be 3 tomorrow...

      TIA

Not really sure about dolls etc but daniel LOVES the films on Disney. He's just 3.5 and has watched them for a while now.

I guess then it's not long until my 3 year old wants it too, perhaps I should order a spare copy NOW

The Tinkerbell DVD is on the Disney BOGOF at Amazon at the moment if anyone was looking for it; I think it has a few days to run

      Cheers

I think it is safe to say that most princess mad girls also love fairies. And the Disney fairies are totally harmless, you don't need to worry. There is a lovely new DS game called Tinkerbell And The Lost Treasure which indulges little girls’ love for art as they can create up to five fairies. They can also pretend to be Tinkerbell and go on magical adventures in the enchanted lands north of Neverland as well as lots of mini games. You can get an idea here: http://www.disneytinkerbell.co.uk.

I guess even Tinkerbell needs to leave J. M. Barrie’s Victorian England behind and fly into the microchip era.

DD loves Tink. She is past the Princess stage (well when she is trying to be 'cool') but apparently Tink is still cool.

Jessica is about 3.5 years old and loves disney princesses especially Tinkerbell, it's a good safe bet!
