Would puff pastry work for a cornish pasty?

I've got a roll of ready made puff pastry waiting to be used up, do you think it would work if I made cornish pasties?

    TIA

You'd probably get drummed out of Cornwall for doing such non-purist things but, from a scientific POV, I don't see why not .... just make sure you don't put carrots in it or they'll be rushing across the Tamar to sort you out!!

They f**k you up, your mum and dad. They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had, and add some extra, just for you.

Aha thanks Dingbatsbird, I think I'll give it a go and see how it comes out, my non-Cornish pasty that I'm making the lazy way using ready made pastry and yes, I was thinking of putting carrots in!

In fact I made cornish pasties last weekend using ready rolled puff pastry. Worked well.
