Would puff pastry work for a cornish pasty?
I've got a roll of ready made puff pastry waiting to be used up, do you think it would work if I made cornish pasties?
TIA

You'd probably get drummed out of Cornwall for doing such non-purist things but, from a scientific POV, I don't see why not .... just make sure you don't put carrots in it or they'll be rushing across the Tamar to sort you out!!

Aha thanks Dingbatsbird,

I think I'll give it a go and see how it comes out, my non-Cornish pasty that I'm making the lazy way using ready made pastry and yes, I was thinking of putting carrots in!

In fact I made cornish pasties last weekend using ready rolled puff pastry. Worked well.
