. Anyone got a recipe for fondant/sugarpaste icing that doesn't use egg?

I want to make some icing to roll out for a first birthday cake, but the only recipe I have includes raw egg white which I don't want to use.

    Anyone got a T&T recipe?

If there's an egg issue I always buy it from my sugarcraft shop.

I am making a three tier 80th birthday cake this week and went down the shop bought route.

Yes, I could buy it from the shop, but the ingredients in the shop-bought don't include egg or gelatine (which I don't want to use either) so there must be one out there!

This one has no egg, but does use gelatin

This one has neither, but it's a pouring fondant rather than a roll out one although you could try adding extra icing sugar for a stiffer, rollable consistency

Thanks Abbie. I found a couple yesterday, one I can use veggie gelatine for and one that is has veggie suet and corn syrup - I bought agave syrup instead, hope it works! Am about to make them so will let you know.
