Lump on the back of my head

Yesterday I noticed a lump on the back of my head. It's like when you get a spot or ingrown hair and does hurt a bit but I am sure I can feel the bone of my skull around it.

I am sure I've not had this all my life but tbh how much notice do we really take of the shape of our skulls?

Do you think I need to see a doc or keep an eye on it?

I sometimes get a similar thing on the side of my head where it is easier to see I guess, and it always turns out to be one of those big humungus spots that have nothing in them but are annoyingly painful.

I'd keep an eye on it for a few days but if there is no change or it gets bigger or something then I would just pop along to the nurse to get it checked out.

That's what I thought but it's hard like my scalp has got bigger too - very odd! It hurts like hell too.

Lu Lu I think I would go to the dr if I were you just to get it checked out and put your mind at rest. The liklihood is that its an ingrown hair or something but if it is that painful and strange feeling then I would get it checked.
