Darn Thomas the Tank Engine!
and in particular my son's obsession with him.
I have just been in the loft looking for bigger vests etc for Stella as she is such a chunky monkey, 6-9 months are getting tight
. I did find plenty of vests, which are fine, but also discovered that nearly all of Monty's 12-18month clothes (including pyjamas) appear to be covered in Thomas the Tank Engine
. I fear my little girl will not be wearing many hand-me-downs over the winter
.
I am not especially fussy about her wearing girly stuff, I reuse plenty of jeans, sleepsuits and plain/stripey t-shirts, but I draw the line at Thomas!
Thankfully as soon as I realised I was pg I started buying neutral pj's and as much other unisex stuff as possible so won't have this problem for too long!

Re: Darn Thomas the Tank Engine!
You're lucky you've got a boy first though, I think she'll get a lot more chance to wear hand-me-downs that Elliot will of Anna's clothes
. You could reuse all the PJs & vests as they'll be underneath other clothes
.
At the moment Elliot is sleeping in pink sleeping bags; I always bought white vests anyway but I don't think I've got anything I can reuse now

I had to buy Emma boys pjs when she wanted noddy ones, they've started doing girls noddy ones now. They're currently Holly's favourite.

Re: Darn Thomas the Tank Engine!
This is so true Duckie. If I had had them the other way around I would have bought into the pink far more I think, and wouldn't have had much I could reuse. And fortunately a lot of M's stuff when he was about 1 was actually hand-me-downs anyway, so I at least it has all been worn a fair bit, although still with life in it imo.
I am definitely re-using vests (of which I seem to have hundreds
), sleeping bags etc. And socks
. At tho mo she wears heaps of his old things, but I think I went through a very boyish tractor, train and truck phase for M, which I am not keen to put her in
. Now I just buy him stripes, she can wear those when she is older no problem
.
Hobgoblin, that is really cute

I do find the balm a bit much to use in...
Has anyone tried Emma Hardie products?
