Unfortunately, a lot of people just don't know their neighbours these days - I'm more saddened by the fact that her own family may not have noticed she'd died five years ago tbh.

Oh that is really terrible, I drive along that street a few days a week and used to live along the road. It is a terrible shame she didn't have any family to notice her absence. Where she lived was very central and probably was mostly young renters who would be short term and not know the neighbours.
