My thermometer arrived this morning/GP appointment

Has taken almost 2 wks ( i think either that or its really dragged) from an ebayer but it arrived this morning. Will be starting tomorrow.

Also i'm about to call the Dr's and arrange an appointment to discuss our lack of pregnancy

Andie - I couldn't go through with taking the pill, the longing for another child was just too strong to stop ttc for any length of time. We decided to keep going and thought that it would be best to see a Dr as its been over a year now.

SS - Yes i have registered on FF, will probably have some questions tomorrow when i come to note my temp down.

a-a - No i've never charted before, its all a bit daunting tbh, but i'm sure i'll get the hang of it.

Dr's appointment is for 10:50am on Thursday this week, i didn't say what it was for, i can see me ending up in a heap on the floor crying my eyes out though, i've a feeling also that i shouldn't take Lu as i don't want her to see me upset.

that's a good idea, especially if she is being a bit difficult. You need to be able to focus on the appt without trying to entertain a toddler! I hope the Dr takes it seriously and doesn't try to palm you off.

Just remember with taking your temp tomorrow, do it first thing before you get up!

Good luck for your appointment on Thursday, i do think thats a good idea not to take lu too, especailly if she is being arkward

Fingers crossed Katy. I agree it's good idea to leave little madame

behind so you can have a proper conversation with the Dr. There's no harm in collapsing in a heap, it's a symptom of your situation and ay help in some way (help him see how it's affecting you and help you exoress your feelings a bit)

Good luck with the charting, I took my first temp this morning after giving up for a while. I charted it and it looks a little bit lonely on the chart on it's own so roll on tomorrow!
