    Emma Bridgewater factory shop questions...

Do they sell much discontinued stuff at the factory shop, or is it mostly seconds? And are they nice and friendly or will they snigger at me if I phone and ask if they've still got any bits of a pattern they last made 4/5 years ago?

Oh, and is it worth a visit? It would be about an hour and a half in each direction for me, but I am tempted...

Not sure about the discontinued stuff but they have always been nice and friendly to me. I don't think they would laugh if you gave them a call. If you are looking for particular pieces I would phone first before visiting.

Always very helpful at Emma Bridgewater.

When I've been there its mostly seconds of varying quality with small collections of discontinued stuff.

They've also got a shop there which sells the new stuff, with a very tiny coffee bar and a paint your own pottery section.

Thanks for the replies. I've phoned the london office before about something and visited the marylebone store, neither of which were that helpful, thus the slight apprehension .

I'll give them a ring when my small person stops whinging (so probably in a couple of years ).
