Dubai - Jumeirah Beach hotels?

Any recommendations?

I had a fecking hideous holiday there some years ago with a psycho ex at Le Royal Meridien Spa so don't want to stay there.

We're looking at the Grovesnor House or the Dubai Marine Spa thing.

Any recommendations with outdoor pool on beach front etc. Bit of luxury but not stupidly expensive! Credit crunch and all that

Oh dear, I was going to say Le Royal Meridien ...

I had a lovely stay there with my parents.

much prefer Abu Dhabi miself.... Dubai is a building site at the moment...

IF i recommended Dubai i would've said the Le Royal Meridan also...lovely place...

Abu Dhabi, i would recommend... Beach Rotana, Al Raha Beach the Sheritan & Hilton is also lovely on the Beach...
