how do you get them to sleep through?

what makes them sleep through...? im so especially ladies who have babies younger than amy.... she just doesnt sleep its driving me she wakes up now twice in the night for 2 full bottles...so she is hungry but yesterday she drank an amazing 41oz's also 4 spoons of baby rice and still woke up and drank 6oz's...why? am i doing something wrong or is this how she's gonna be till she eats propperly..

WOW!! 41oz in a day seems an awful lot to be taking in. I maybe wrong, but that seems a hell of a lot to me. Jay has roughly 30oz (i think). Thats from around 6am ish appox to his last one at about 8pm.
He has slept through now for about 2 weeks - and only wakes if he wants his dummy putting back in :roll:

How old is Amy now hun?

I cant imagine she is still hungry after having that much in the day, but then if she is taking the feed in the night then she must want it

Could you perhaps change her formula to a hungry baby one.

Is she definitely winded before being put to bed? Jay will not sleep unless he has been winded properly.

7.30am
11.30am
3.30pm
7.30pm
10.30pm

i really hate to say this but ryan used to wake every nite for either a feed or a drink once they got him off milk at nite time, and even now at the age of 10 i dont think he sleeps right through the nite without waking for a drink at least 2 times a nite were as jake he slept right through from newborn but i think that was more to do with the fact i brestfed him and took strong anti-depressants with a sedative in them and took them at 9 pm and gave him his last feed at 10 he zonked out all nite till 7am even now he goes to bed at 7:30 and sleeps right through unless he is ill or cold. as for william i know i pick him up and lay down and feed him in the nite but normally fall asleep and i am sure he is reattaching himself while i sleep and helping himself. so no not much help at all really am i

she is 18wks old.. i know it seems alot isnt like this every day...yesterday was a 1 off i think..when i talk 40oz's i mean over 24hrs..no idea what wrong this is our day today so far

1.30am 4oz
6.00am 6 oz
9.30 5oz
12.30 baby rice + 5oz
3.30 6oz
then prob

6.30 bath 6oz normally bed till 1.30am or if she doesnt go to sleep she will be fed again at 9.30pm
