Poss TMI question about newborn baby girls
DO NOT READ IF EATING!!!
Okay, I've only dealt with new born winkies so far.
This morning when I was changing Miss Boo she pooped but at the same time a load of white discharge came out of her little girlie bum.
I'm assuming this is normal and just mucus?Mum, writer, occasional nutcase.

Stella had it too and for a few days afterwards.
The MW did tell me that some can have a small bleed too as their hormones kick in, so don't panic if that happens too xx

It can be worrying when all you are used to are winkies (so to speak) I was the other way around

Re: Poss TMI question about newborn baby girls
We found a tiny bit of blood, but knew it was to be expected.

Out of interest, is she swollen at all? DD was so swollen (down below) that at first I was worried she was a boy! ie a boy without a winkle.

After a few days it will all be settled down, and you will be fine dealing with girlie bits. Do bear in mind that girls CAN also do that amazing peeing vertically trick, yes honestly.
you have been warned!!
