Babys Movements nearing the end of the pregnancy
Just wondering.......
I know the baby's movements should never decrease even up to the end, but my little one seem to be more active that ever really - major movements more than kicks though. Is this a build-up to labour or is s/he just having a fling about??
Also out of curiosity really, do you still get these movements through contractions/labour or do you not feel that anymore??
Thanks

Re: Babys Movements nearing the end of the pregnancy
I think the movements almost get quite violent- you certainly see things sticking out a la alien life form and if they bounce around on your bladder/cervix/pelvis they really can take your breath away.
I can't remember if they still feel the same in labour
. You can probably feel a few but once you are in established labour I suspect you don't notice because of the contractions/squeezing. Makes you wonder what the baby is making of it all.
Been busy
and got the start of a big clear out on ebay. Please take a look - it's like an Aladdin's cave!

You do get these major movements as the baby gets nearer to term. Daisy was really hurting me sometimes for some weeks - she is very long and I am very small though
You can feel movements during contractions. When they put you on the heartbeat trace when you first go in, you have a little button to press when you feel a movement.
Not so much during ACTUAL labour though.

Re: Babys Movements nearing the end of the pregnancy
I am feeling major movements, and the other night the baby went mental in there but I had terrible cramping pains behind my pubic bone. They made me cry.
OH was lovely tho.
I told my mate who reckons they were Braxton Hicks (which I have never had before) and she says baby hates these. Which may explain why it was going mad in my upper abdomen. I thought it was cos I had a lovely Irish coffee before bed - and the caffeine had made baby hyper....
Not looking forward to the real thing AT ALL.
Will probably just cry like a baby and wish I was dead

CEM don't worry about the real thing. I think they (contractions) are easier when they are the real thing because they are going to help you see your baby. Each contraction is one that you never have to do again and one less to seeing your baby. You will be fine, I promise.

Anyone have a cheaper version of the clarisonic?
