I've just taken Ellie for a hearing test as her hearing is appalling again - TV on full blast, constantly repeating ourselves, etc, etc and we've had a run of ear aches/ear infections.

She failed.

Her hearing is seriously impaired again and her second lot of grommets have fallen out, so our Dr is referring her back to the ENT consultant.

He mentioned that this time they'd probably give her tubes.

Has anyone had these? What does it involve? Any advice or help gratefully received.
