When do you stop using infacol?
We have been using it since Daniel was about two weeks old but was wondering how long to carry on with it.
Is it just for colic relief, and if so is that supposed to stop at around three months?
Dont want to keep buying it if it isnt actually doing anything but I dont want to stop if it is going cause problems again.

Re: When do you stop using infacol?
Tigerstripes - I gradually started dropping the infacol at one feed at a time, starting in the night, and working through the morning. The last feed I stopped using infacol with was the afternoon ones as this is when he used ot get wind worst. I'm not sure there is any way of knowing if he's ready to go without apart from gradually weaning off
I figured by gradually reducing it rather than sotpping completley all at once, if he wasn't ready the effect would be less dramatic (and less stressful all round!!)no matter how far you have travelled down the wrong road, you can always turn around.

Re: When do you stop using infacol?
I stopped giving it to Gemma at about 14 weeks. I found that we did not have any trouble, in fact she was (and still is) very capable of burping up the wind all on her own.

Re: When do you stop using infacol?
I did the same as shoppie. Decided that the night feeds were the most important ones to give infacol and gradually dropped the rest. Eventually had to drop the night ones when Liv wasn't having the night feeds!
It's official - I'm a total fruit loop
