My friend is having her tonsils removed tomorrow and I would like to buy her a popcorn machine. She loves popcorn and has always wanted a popcorn machine. I thought this might be something to look forward to using once her throat has healed.

I have the duck popcorn maker and it is really good although when making the popcorn you have to turn the duck to face the wall as the popcorn flies out at some speed and quite often misses the bowl.

My friend has more sophisticated taste than me therefore I think I should buy her a non duck version .

Does anyone have a home popcorn machine that they could recommend?
