Would this upset you?
Clarissa had her nursery christmas concert today.
She volunteered to say a few words on her own (the rest was singing and dancing in small groups) and we have been practising all week. She had to stand up in front of everyone and say: Thanks for coming, we hope you enjoyed it Merry Christmas everyone!
She even had her name printed in the program, Final word: Clarissa.
Well, at the end of the concert, we saw her waiting to speak, but the Headmistress, could not stop talking on her microphone headset thing, thanking everyone, saying how fabulous the children were, blah blah and now the children will go and get changed and you all stay here for the raffle. And off they went, without Clarissa saying the words she was so *guesscited* (excited) about.
I asked the Head teacher and, she said, she didnt know anything and to ask a teacher. Didn't look concerned..or interested at all.
Teachers were really busy and I couldn't ask any of them, but I asked Clarissa if she had refused to say her words (which I would understand, there was a LOT of people there), but she said, no mummy they forgot about me.
I am a bit pissed off.

Tbh it does sound like they'd forgotten about her, but that doesn't make it right and you have every right to be peed off. Not sure anythng much can be done about it, but maybe a teacher could have a quick word with her to apologise tomorrow.

I'd be p!ssed off too. Maybe you could set up a private 'concert' with your friends & family where she gets to say that & play another leading role? Get everyone involved & dress up?
