Old wives tales

So, what are the old wives tales you know about pregnancy? It will be interesting to see if any of them prove to be true

Heartburn = baby with lots of hair

(I had heartburn last time around and Craig was a baldy baby!!)

Joseph was baldy too and I had ferocious heartburn.

cravings sweet stuff = a girl

I craved watermelon with both boys so I obviously wasn't listening!

I had two hairy babies, and only had heartburn with one pregnancy!

Also, the comments about bump position and gender, "ooh you're all out front it must be a boy"

None of it ever fitted for me!

The quicker you fall, the more likely it is going to be a girl

I had 2 bumps neat and all out front = Boys

I had horrendous heartburn with Christopher and he had lots of hair when born and did not loose it.

Bad heartburn in both pregnancies - Both babies had loads of hair! True

One pregnancy carried weight all over, one all out front - two girls! False

One pregnancy craved savory, one pregnancy craved sweet - two girls! False!

Needle over bump predicted boy both times - wrong!

Heartburn with Sophie - loads of hair.

Wide load with Sophie as gained weight everywhere. Just rather large bump with this baby which is a boy although not confirmed yet
