Baby Rex is here!

I'm pleased to announce that Baby Rex the Bumhead made his entrance at 7.34pm on Thursday! Had my home water birth as planned and he weighed in at a massive 10lb 14oz! So glad I was only 4 days over or god knows how big he would have got. Both the midwives think he may be the biggest home delivery in Wolverhampton. Had to go to hospital via ambulance after the birth as they were concerned I may have had a 3rd degree tear

but luckily it wasn't.

He's feeding really well - just desperately wanting my milk to come in as I can tell he's sooo hungry. Oh and he has the whitest blonde hair I've ever seen which was a shock as DH has jet black and I was expecting him to follow suit! Will upload some pics in a bit.

Now somebody please tell me Rex didn't win Big Brother???!!

Rex didn't win BB, he came 4th so you're fine, no-one will remember him in a week or 2

So happy you got your home water birth too! I am sure if you had had him on dry land you would of had 3rd degree tears as water is supposed to really help lessen the effects of tearing!!

Rex is a well cool name and Rachel won BB so your fine there!! Hmm Rex and Dex....??
