What do your LO's stand on?
I'm going to make some cakes with Maisie in a minute
.
She stands on a chair to help, but it's not ideal. What do your LO's stand on to reach the worktop during 'cooking' activities?

A chair. She is repeatedly told to stand still and hold onto the worksurface. She repeatedly ignores this and has a cracking great bruise on her chin at the moment.

Re: What do your LO's stand on?
We have an entire collection of wooden stools that have been bought by Nana and Nanny!
I think they actually all come from charity shops - you know that Oxfam and Cancer Research have specially made lines - well I'm 99% sure that they're mostly from there (we've got about 6 of them) Little carved 3 legged stools with an animal or bear on the top.
They're gorgeous actually and very useful (although I spend my entire time dragging them back to where they came from as Little M has become a tad handy at turning taps on, reaching over for stuff etc etc
)
eta - ooh a friend of mine has a little step stool from Ikea that she's painted the bottom steps on in the most lush blue and it looks gorgeous!! (top is left wood, bottom bit is painted) Bargainous £12 or something for the stool, probably less) If I didn't have enough stools to start my own shop, I'd get one of those.
