are there any free websites for a food diary?
I know I can register with Weight watchers but wondered if there are any free websites to record what you're eating and do the calorie counting? TIA

Re: are there any free websites for a food diary?
Have a look at ExtraPounds.com
They've got Food Logs, Weight Logs, Body Logs, Activity Logs, all kinds of things. I've used the weight logs on there before and found it really useful. You can have your own free blog as well if you want
There's loads of info about it being a community and support groups and such but I couldn't really be bothered getting into all that so just did the weight log on my own and bypassed the social stuff

sparkpeople.com is excellent! I couldn't believe it was free as it really does have all the bells and whistles a subscription based site would have.
fitday.com also has a food diary and database thingy but last time I looked at it it wasn't as 'glossy' as sparkpeople.

thanks for the suggestions, I actually have found one called mydailyplate.com which I have just started using and so far so good but will keep those suggestions in mind if I decide I don't like it. Thanks again.
