Ooooh a wedding at candlestone would be very cool!

Larp - Live action role play or cross country pantomime! You pretend to be a character and interact with other players and hopefully the plot :)

    Re: LARPERS confess here

    Hi all

I'm currently having a bit of a costume crisis as I need a roman-esq dress for an event in a couple of weeks. I don't want anything too skimpy as it's an outdoor event and it could be quite cold by then. Also I need to be able to move around quite freely. Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi Truff

What gender is this costume for, and what era and occupation? And do you want to go for "authentic" or "recognisably" Roman?

    Hey, just saw this!

Another WoW player here I play on Bronzebeard and am a Nightelf Priest, nearly at 60

Can I ask, since having your baby Elektra, how have you coped with playing instances. We have found it a logistical nightmare!! We played our first since having ours (BRD) at the weekend and arranged the guild run between feeds with LO in a sling, and it worked a treat

I am boggled how anyone manages to stay sane through a high-level instance (5 hours of frantic milling about, usually for nothing) with or without baby.

DH has gone the twink/battleground route so we have a nice collection of L19 armed-to-the-teeth twinks which you can take out for the odd half hour which is about all I can stand!

Yes, redhed, tend to agree. I am always completely exhausted after and we havent done that many.

We have friends in a serious guild who practically do an instance EVERY evening - I couldnt cope with that!!

Havent been in the battlegrounds. DH has and finds it frustrating as he found that people dont really work as a team unless you go in as a guild. How do you find them?

I am about to go out so a quick explanation.

Live role play: you dress up in fancy dress and go camping while pretending to be someone else for the weekend

And off track a little bit from what DG meant in the first place I think, WoW is World of Warcraft which is a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. It isnt as nerdy as it sounds and its hugely addictive. Great fun. So I dont dress up as an elf in real life, just online as my character!! honestly
