    Angelcare digital monitor, anyone?

    We bought one as a gift and my SIL isn't sure it's working properly. Do digital monitors "filter out" background noise? If they put the radio on in the baby's room the monitor doesn't pick it up, but it you go in and talk in there, it kicks back in again.....

    I had one but never used a radio. Could hear people taking and it should tick when the baby breathes.
