    Best supermarket nappies???

Following on from DietCoke's thread about value groceries, wondered what peoples thoughts were on own brand nappies? Since the girls were babies I've always used pampers, but in an effort to reduce my astronomical shopping bill I recently bought tesco own brand, they were 3 pounds cheaper than pampers and just as good, if not better.

Anyone else reccomend an own brand??

Definitely the Tesco ones, I started to use the pruple packeted ones just before Poppy came out of nappies, they were fab, the Asda ones are really good too. I still use Tesco ones for night times, I now use the green ones (as you get a few more per packet! ) and they are great too, she has never had a leak in the morning with them. I presume the purple ones are meant to be like the Pampers Active Fit as they are a bit more elasticated and stretchable than the green packet (which I presume are meant to be the equivalent of the Pampers Baby Dry)

I really rate Sainsbury's Explore nappies. They're as good as pampers active fit, and sooo much cheaper!

I used Tesco's smaller size nappies, and although we switched to reusable at 10 months, we used Morrisons ones on occasion and had no problems. We use Morrisons pullups now at times and think they are great. They fit Daisy much better than the Pampers or Huggies pullups do.

Another vote for Tesco purple nappies. I tried them for budgeting reasons too and they're much cheaper than Pampers/Huggies and just as good.

I always use supermarket nappies. Usually the green baby-dry rip offs. They're as good no matter what supermarket you go to - ASDA, Tesco, Sainsburys. The only ones I've had that were rubbish were Morrisons.

Has anyone used the Value nappies? I am sorely tempted!

Definitely Tescos, in the purple or green packets.
