    Reiki in pregnancy?

    No, not for me .
    Can a pregnant lady have reiki? (not sure on the grammer of the word reiki, sorry )

    I dont see any reason why not Its only like massage in fact they dont even touch you that much
    Reach for the moon because even if you miss at least you will have danced among the stars.

    Yes it is fine. I had it when I was in labour.

    It does no harm at all as all it does is manipulate energy levels

    Some Therapists gently lay hands on the person - others work 'in the air' so to speak and don't even touch the part of the body they're working on.
    It works helping to balance the energy centres so is good if you're tired , anxious etc.
    The lady I go to uses crystals as well and once you get into it is totally addictive and makes me completely chilled no matter whats going on at the time.
    There aren't any contra-indications to Reiki as such unlike massage for example but Therapists usually wait untill the first tri-mester is over if working with pregnant women (same as for most other Therapies.)

    I had it when I was PG, though I have to admit I didn;t check the guidance first as I was already overdue and wanted baby OUT.
