I can't remember if there has been one recently or not, forgive me if there has.

The 'how much' are you wearing thread got me thinking about wedding rings (it doesn't take much

). Mine are not very traditional but I

them. My e-ring is blue opals and was my mums and my sister made my wedding ring to match it.

Once I have a bit more time on my hands I'm going to try to take some decent non blurry photos of them

Please share your with me otherwise I shall be forced to go and do some studying!

Excuse the old looking hand! Eternity ring is the same ring as my wedding ring and we had it custom studded.

I saw a lovely unusual one the other day with a big diamond shaped amethyst on a thick silver band. It was gorgeous.

This is mine. Made by DH's aunt who's a jeweler. 1 karat diamond on a 6 pronged setting. Very traditional but I

it, it's simple an elegant. I desperately need a new wedding band though as it still has a cut in it from where I had it cut off 7 years ago - I never got round to getting it fixed.

ETA: my phone seems to have focused on everything but the ring. WHoops.

I want a single round solitaire. Finances will not stretch to a full carat I doubt. With a white gold band.

Wedding & Engagement:

Wedding on its own.

The wedding rings are Ola Gorie, DH has the same but in yellow gold. Engagement ring was made by a chap at the jewellery quarter to fit in the wee dippy bit.

ETA - like Janice, I got my engagement ring after I was married. On our first anniversary he got down on one knee & said "Did you marry me?"

Maybe one day, I'll get a bigger more expensive one, but this one is v v special to me!

My engagement and wedding rings.

I designed the engagement ring myself and had my favourite jeweller in town make it for me. It's an emerald cut diamond (not a great photo). Excuse my chubby, pregnant fingers. My wedding ring has 3 emerald cuts set into it.

Here are my 2 eternity rings and my Lexie ring (the diamond solitaire...given to me when Lexie was born...it has Alexandra Lee and her d.o.b. engraved on the inside).

I've already chosen my Bubba No. 2 ring

Oooh Gemiloch I really like that your's isn't a diamond.

I always say that if I ever got engaged again

I would really like one huge pearl as my engagement ring - sort of like this.

This is what I do have though..... One round diamond with a 4 clasp engagement ring and a plain-ish wedding band with small diamonds all the way around.
