Looking after 5 kids on your own...
... is fecking knackering!!!!
I've had to get them all up mega early, washed, breakfast-ed, dressed and in the car to run DD to a limbering class.... then home... then back again to pick her up (plus all the ins and outs of the car seats to take her into the hall etc)..... now home for a drink then out again for singing, then home, then out again for DS's dance class.... then home to collapse although I have to face the supermarket with them all this afternoon as I've gone nothing in for tea!
I need to be super-army-style organised to achieve anything!
Roll on Sunday!
ETA: On the positive side I've realised I CAN do it on my own though and don't NEED DH....

May I suggest you shop online in future, there's only so much one woman can do, even if that woman happens to be Superwoman!

Good idea. I used to when they were babies but have tended to do daily shops now which I'm thinking may become impossible.

I don't *know* you really but from what I've read from you on here you're such a strong woman that nothing is impossible for you.
Hope you get some real rest and me-time later today, you certainly deserve it

I am in awe of you BM! I have four at once on a Thursday but they come already washed and dressed
and I find that really hard work. I take my hat off to you for doing it full time

Re: Looking after 5 kids on your own...
Betty Mae, you are an inspiration woman.....you should change your username to Superwoman, because that is what you are. I bow down to you, I get knackered looking after one Four year old (albeit a very energetic one!), I wouldn't be able to cope with more than that.
And I definately recommend the online shopping - much, much easier and the nice man will carry it all in the house for you as well!
Make sure you are leaving some time for yourself though eh?
