Argos Home Deliveries?

Are they notorious for being late by any chance? I ordered a bed to be delivered this morning between 7 and 12, 11:45 they rang and said they'd been delayed due to a breakdown but they'd be with me within the hour. At 1:15pm they rang and said they'd be an hour. It's now nearly an hour and a half after that and still no sign.

I'm bloody fuming tbh! I feel like a prisoner in my own home, with a whining toddler clinging to my trouser leg. We're both desperate to get out of the house!

IME: they've delivered to us twice and collected stuff twice and they've always come as soon as the time window started.

Ie; Once they came at 7 am (had said between 7-12).

And another time they came at 12, had chosen 12-3pm or something.

SO I have always been impressed.

I won't order anything for home delivery from Argos anymore, after a complete disaster with a washing machine. They're too unreliable IME.
