feck my car seat doesnt fit arghhhhhhhhhhhh

before anyone says well you should have checked before you bought it i did turns out they fitted it wrong and my seatbelt isnt long enough , problem is i went to babies r us that stocked my car seat to get it fitted then bought it online from a pram shop that has an ebay store well before xmas. havent used it in my car just my parents as im not driving again yet it fits theirs just not mine

We had the exact same problem, only with Mamas and Papas. The seatbelt wasn't long enough for ours either. We have a Ford Focus

They were pretty reasonable in the end and admitted they fitted it wrong and refunded us

What a nuisance.

Could you re-sell it on Ebay and explain your reason for sale?

Do you know anyone who needs to buy a seat who you could offer to sell it to?

At least that way you should be able to get most of your money back.

Failing that, do you need to have a spare for your parents car and you could buy a different one?

What seat is it ? If it's one of the popular ones, I'd imagine that it'll re-sell easily.
