Re: Oct mummies - second trimester!
Did you talk to them about the dates? Babybond told me its best to wait until you are at least 17 weeks, as although they can usually tell at 16, there si sometimes a delay in boy bits dropping

Shoppie - they said 16 weeks was fine
I thought it was 17 too! They said that if they weren't totally sure then they would give me another one at 17 weeks so I thought nothing to lose

Dates are 3rd, 6th and 8th October. the mw says theyre close enough to keep the 3rd but consultant was insistant scan ones are more reliable

Re: Oct mummies - second trimester!
Hey girlies

13wks today!
I'm so relieved to have got this far. Roll on my scan on Tues. What time is yours Terri? Looking forward to getting a ticker too.
We're not finding out the sex. We didn't with Nathan and loved the whole 'What have we got?' when he popped out.
I've really been struggling to find nice maternity clothes in my size. I've only looked in DP's, Peacocks and mamas and papas but all the things I like are in smaller/bigger size than I need. I'm off to Liverpool tomorrow as DH has given me some money to go and get some stuff. Hope I have more luck there.

I don't mind if it's added to your sig Peridot. I'll copy it to mine once I've had my scan.
I'm hoping this one is as punctual as Nathan, who came on his due date.

Re: Oct mummies - second trimester!
Hi guys
Yay, we're all in the 2nd trimester. That's so cool.
I'm shattered, but have had a lovely day shopping (and chatting and lunching) with SarahR. Its been great. We spent a fortune in Gap with our 30% off vouchers. I got two pairs of mat trousers which are soooo comfy for £4.99 each and a short denim skirt for the summer. Got a top from DP's which had 20% off as they had a 20% off everything day.
Serious bargains. Also treated myself to a Boots Sanctury mum to be gift pack as recommended by someone the other day. Looking forward to using it.
I'm shattered now and really CBA to cook tea. Might see if I can persuade DH to do it when he comes home. J has cheese on toast as he ate a mountain of food at lunchtime.
We will not be finding out the sex of baby at the scan either. Didn't with J and just don't want to know. Its nice to get a surprise at the end. I would love love a girl, but I think a boy would be fab too. I do not have as strong a preference this time as I did with J. We are almost 100% set on having 3 anyway so its not the last for us hopefully.
Have a lovely weekend girls. We have nothing planned apart from J and DH getting their haircut. They both look like they've been dragged through a hedge backwards but we didn't want to do it too early as its my brother's wedding next saturday. OMG my baby brother is getting married
I don't mind being added to the sig Peridot. I'm hoping this one will be early like Jacob was. Can't be doing with all the hanging around.

Re: Oct mummies - second trimester!
I don't mind sweetie - I know I haven't had my scan but tbh, I still feel as rough as a badgers arse, my boobs are sore & def bigger, my bump's getting bigger & I'm feeling the beginning's of movement.......
now I know I could be imagining all of that but I think it's ok.......
Red - mine is 1.50pm........
ok - will wait to open the "book" officially on Tuesday evening, but who wants to start thinking about placing a bet as to when mine will arrive? Bearing in mind that Euwyn was over 13 weeks early, Brett was 4 weeks early & Toby was born at 39 weeks.........

Re: Oct mummies - second trimester!
3 days late. You seem to be going later each time.
Jacob was 12 days early last time, so I'm hoping for another early one.

Re: Oct mummies - second trimester!
I cant bear it mine are ALWAYS late and I go so mad by the end. real "mental health". Mali was induced on his due date and he was still 2 days late.
However Bean came pretty much naturally (went into be induced and was 5cms and not aware was in labour) and tat was only 2 days late AND my waters went about a week before so
