Well did ya miss me? Did ya? Did ya?

Feels like I've been out of action for a year rather than about a month!

I'm back (temporarily at least!) to say hi. I've had an extremely busy month hence why I've not been about - that and my laptop has died so I'm online only when DH isn't on the PC.

So I've been up to my eyes in it but I'm soooooo happy atm

Work is going really well - I've still got 3 clients and not working full time but the kids are lovely and the parents are just wonderful which I feel I REALLY deserve after the last headcases I've had

One of my clients is so thrilled with me she keeps paying me extra

If only all our clients were like her.

My two girls are fabulous atm - they have both grown loads and A gets more cheeky and adorable each day

She's STILL not walking

at 15 months but cruising and using her walker so I don't think it will be long. We've just come back from 2 weeks in the sun with the outlaws and we all survived

I was very proud of myself in that the outlaws didn't start to annoy me til we'd been there a week which I think is incredible. I just made sure I bit my tongue (though DH did deal with the battles alone and umprompted by me which was

) and he and I got some time alone too which was wonderful

We're really content atm and excitedly planning the future for our 10th wedding anniversary next year. The girls had an incredible time and P loved it as it's the first year we've been that she could really appreciate it. She's come back full of it and is developing a keen eye for nature like MIL as she can name all the birds we took photos of for her holiday scrapbook (proud mummy

)

We've been back since Saturday and so far the post-holiday blues haven't hit - despite the weather and the jet lag. I also had some fab news yesterday in that I passed the second unit of my childcare diploma with 72% which is a B grade

So I just thought I'd pop in (though it is turning out to be a mammoth post

) Sorry for not catching up on news much but it's hard only having the one PC and it's rigged to DH's Xbox so I don't get it much

I won't be about a lot - though I doubt you could stand me being so upbeat as it's so unusual and probably a bit unnerving

Saw your gorgeous photos but didn't have time to comment on them. Lovely, they are so so pretty and I know you're a very proud mamma.

I probably think the same every year but I had forgotten we got married the same year. What are you planning for your 10th? We haven't even talked about it yet

DH has got a nice business conference that I get to go to (all meals out comped etc) for our 9th but we'd really like to do something more special

Anyway, good to hear you sounding so happy and positive about everything. And selfishly - it's good to have you back

We're going away for a WHOLE weekend without the kids!!!!

I have already agreed it with MIL - she's said she will have them Friday - Monday

and we are most likely going to Rome

It's somewhere we've always wanted to go and not managed it and I think it will

be romantic just the two of us. We will be celebrating 10 years of marriage and 15 years of being together

(Obviously I was a child bride

)
