For the first time in years I find myself....
home alone
I've ducked out of a trip to MIL's
on the pretence of wanting to do stuff (well she'll never know
) and have approx 2hrs to myself now
I'm going to have lunch in peace, do a bit of pottering then curl up with a good book and enjoy a bit of solitude.
How sad am I that this has made me ridiculously excited

Re: For the first time in years I find myself....
Hope you enjoy your time alone. I've just had 2 hrs on my own whilst dp took ds to the Easter Fair. I said i'd got a lot to do, havne't had time to sit down though and slob, just finished what i wanted to do and they've just come back. oh well i've had chance to have my music blaring out instead of childrens programmes, and dp has just made me a cuppa and bought me a piece of cake they bought from the fair.

That's why I had mine so close together - so I could pack them both off to school soon enough, and get some peace.

Not really - it wasn't actually deliberate. I mean, nobody with a seven month old thinks, "Hey - let's try for another baby right now!" - do they?
We certainly didn't, anyway. I was positively embarrassed about it.
Anyway - enjoy your day to yourself!
