    Arrgh, massive skin flare up!

My face is covered in very sore spots and I have tried everything I have but it seems to make it worse. I'm using a facewash for oily skin at the moment (Avalon Organics) and my skin is going into overdrive in the heat. I'm not using any moisturiser as the one I have is too heavy for now.

What can I do???? i could do with some new skincare but don't want to make it any worse or end up wasting my money and I'm so confused with the choice.

AG try olive oil, use it like a cleanser and wipe off using a flannel rinsed out in hot water.

ETA: I found products designed for oily skin stripped my skin so much that it made it produce even more oil to compensate resulting in an even oiler complexion.

I forgot about the olive oil thing. I used to do it but DH kept taking the olive oil back to the kitchen or if I put some in a container he'd tip it down the sink and I got sick of it Just been to do it now and my skin feels a lot more comfortable, I'd stupidly been picking my spots

I decant the olive oil into a handwash type dispenser although now I also use an olive oil soap aswell.

I honestly don't know. it has to do with the adrogen aspect of testosterone. Changing yr diet can certainly help as certain foods encourage testosterone production. Frigging hormones, they seem to be working against you from birth to death.

my skin has been a nightmare too, i have been buying different products this week, Neutrogena stuff which has made it worse think it is the heat, i look like i have been sunburnt.

Is the olive oil suitable for all skin types and you just use the cooking olive oil?

Sorry to hijack AG and sorry I havent got any advice...

Yes, seashell, the same oil you use for cooking is suitable for all skin types. If you have really dry skin you could smooth on a very slim layer after cleansing to moisturise the skin.
