Socatots
Louis absolutely loves football - he has excellent ball control and is always kicking one around shouting 'GOAL!'.
I looked into Socatots a while ago but I think he was too young as he was the age for Phase 1... now he is the right age for Phase 2 and I think he might benefit from it.
Do any of you take your LO's to Socatots and what are your experiences?

Re: Socatots
We don't have Socatots here, but Alex goes to a football scheme run by Norwich City FC for kids. We pay £30 for a 10 week term and it's an hour a week on a Saturday morning. They also do 1/2 term and holiday courses too.
Alex adores it ! He asks almost every day when he's going to play football and has made a few little friends there too. Our scheme spends some time working on "skills" and then splits them into groups for 3-a-side games.
I'd recommend it - it teaches them discipline, social skills and burns off LOADS of energy.

Re: Socatots
Charlie and Oliver go to Socatots. Charlie started when he was 18months and Oliver started in January when he turned a year old - here in our neck of the woods, they don't do it with phases, its just 6 months to 5 years. The guy who runs our class is brill! Hes even starting up lessons for 5- 9 year olds so they have somewhere to graduate to.
I would highly recommend it - its very good for their confidence levels.

Re: Socatots
Ive not heard of Little Kickers. I know that Simon Clifford founded Socatots and that Mika Richards (Man City I think
) was selected from the Brazillian football club thing which I think is called Soca De Sol (or something) the club which is now, the graduation from Socatots..so if you think you have a future England player there.......

Re: Socatots
Joe goes to Little Kickers, which I assume is pretty similar to Socatots. I think it's very good; the classes are very well structured, the children have to listen but get plenty of opportunity to practise their skills and run around. LK is a 40 minute session so it's great exercise. The coaches are lovely, very
motivational and good at making sure everyone gets plenty of turns, with lots of praise. It's fun too.
He's just about to move up to the next age group this weekend, Mighty Kickers, for 3.5-5 yr olds where the pace is faster and they start playing mini games.
A big thumbs up from me
for this sort of class.
