    Isaac Mizrahi '08

From his ready to wear collection at NY Fashion week:

*sigh* It's SO so very me. Do you think it would be hard to make myself and what fabric would I use for the skirt? I just love it

    That is just so sweet!

Have you looked at vogue patterns? Maybe their vintage collection has something similar in.

That is nice, and it's something that could easily be worn IYKWIM? It's not too "out there" but it's still really stylish.

The skirt part could be made with some sort of mohair weave fabric, I think. Then you would get the 'hairy' effect.

purhaps put a lighter silky fbric under the skirt incase it itches, you could make layers of it to poof it out abit. That is a gorgoues colour and cut though.

    So light and feminine

Mum has had a peek at it and said that I'd have to have a really stiff fabric underneath it to make the shape work and then a thinner fluffy one on top. Considering it was already 28C today in Feb. not sure I'd get that many occasions to wear it

Might have to think of other fabrics to use instead, lightweight ones......

Absolutely no advice on how you would make that but it is utterly . Any idea how much it would be to buy?
