Went for my scan this morning.. insisted OH didn't come in the room incase it was bad news (), sonographer was silent for absolutely ages so I prepared myself for the worst. Then, after about ten minutes of complete silence and nothing being given away in her face, she just said "well.. there's definately a baby.. a very little one at that!", cue me being all . I then (quite scarily, actually) asked if it had a heartbeat and she was like "Oh yes! It's very strong! Look!" and she was right! There was a teenie little bubs pumping away in the darkness of my woooomb (sorry, I am ridiculously bouncy!).
Bubsie's measuring 4mm, so still too small to work out gestational age (they've put me at approx. 5 weeks pg with a May 25th EDD, which I'm still trying to work out in my head) but I'm not *too* worried (most of this cycle's TTC involved rough estimates because I'd delayed my previous AF with Norethisterone and thrown myself off completely Still worked though, eh? :-)).
Anyway.. I have a rescan on October the 6th (2 weeks time) to see if they can date me properly and tell us more then.
