Tonight we're having chilli BBQ'd steak, herby roasted pots, roasted cherry toms and courgettes done on the BBQ.

Our chickens have started laying better so we have an abundance of eggs. I've made a quiche for tomorrow. My children aren't keen on eggs but I have found they will eat quiche if it is loaded with veg and cheese.

I made a dish cake that I'd found on Facebook today. The recipe use apple but a friend had said it worked with rhubarb so I tried it. I liked it but my children preferred the rhubarb and custard cake that I usually make.

Tonights dinner was nut roast, carrots, mashed potatoes, green beans and roast beetroot. My freezer is full of beetroot and beans from my Dad's garden.

I do say to DH that he is never going to be able to divorce me as he will never find anyone else who spends as much time cooking him meals as I do!

                    This week we have:
                    Zuni Cafe roast chicken salad
                    Chicken and mushroom pies
                    Baked Gnocchi
Pork chop with garlicky puy lentils
Linguine with sardines (an old Delia recipe but a great speedy supper)

p.s for DD's sleepover night on Sat we had these pizza bases and they are really excellent, http://www.ocado.com/webshop/product...base_SHELFVIEW

We are having Monday night linguini, we have it every Monday because I always have the ingredients in the freezer.

Linguini, in a chilli garlic olive oil sauce with peas and spinach

Tonight we are having salsicce con lenticchie (Minky's recipe from the classic damsels recipe thread.

It's basically a sausage casserole, I'm not really a fan of sausages, but it is delicious.
