  • What is the best/safest way to reheat chicken nuggets?

I've just got some out of the freezer for Anna's lunch, but when she last had them they were cooked from fresh - it's just occured to me I've got no idea how they should be cooked from frozen/chilled . Should they even be defrosted first, and if so can they be microwaved or should I put them back in the oven? Thanks .

    Defrost and then microwave?

      I wouldn't micro them, they'd be soggy.

I'd cook them the same way you do fish fingers, they're frozen aren't they. I don't think defrosting first is a good idea .

I make up batches of chicken goujons, presume we're talking about the same thing. that's raw chick breast, flattened a bit, rolled in egg, breadcrumbs and flour and sometimes a bit of parmesan with the breadcrumbs. takes about 2 minutes to make loads of meals. anyway, I defrost over night in the fridge and then put them in a frying pan when needed. dribble of oil in the pan first and I just wrap them in kitchen roll once done to remove excess oil, takes about 5 minutes.
