phew...have actually just cried at my desk...

They had to try both arms to get a vein but the 'magic cream' (emla cream) seemed to do the job numbing it.

He is now eating Magic Stars apparantly.

Hi Jo,
They are RAST tests, for allergies. He took a severe reaction to tomato sauce (of all things) last week where his lips were swollen and turned blue.

oooh that doesnt sound very good, lets hope they get him sorted out then. But poor J if he cant have tomato sauce!

The thing is, he is okay with Heinz, so there is obviously a preservative or colouring he is not okay with and we dont know what it is, or what it may be in.

After watching Despatches last night my sister is now convinced he has dust allergies too...

EMLA is great - I stole some from work when I had to have bloods done in my last pregnancy I'm a bit braver this time round :D

What a brave little man! At least they'll be able to determine exactly what he's allergic to. Daniel gets hayfever and he has a bit of a sensitivity to tomatoes, but nothing like Joseph's reaction.

Ahhh bless the wee J Man, hope the magic stars worked and he is over his traumatic day, same goes for you too, must be awful not having been there for him.......who'd be a working mum eh (it being the easy life n all that :wik: :laff: )
