I'm moving my daughter in to a bed next month, just before the new baby arrives...she'll be 19 months old :zombie: but if she doesn't like it, we'll be able to put bars on the side of the bed.
I need to get a mattress for the bed and wondered if any one had any suggestions? The bed is being made for her by my dad, and will be made to the size of the mattress, but I'm not sure of the following:
- Should I get a toddler size mattress, or a 'normal' size one?
- Is there any particular sort I need to get?
- Any suggestions for places to buy it from?
- The new baby will be getting her cot - can someone tell me why the guidelines say you should buy a new cot mattress for the new baby?
