Can anyone point me in the direction of a nice back pack? It has to be big enough to carry mine and a babies stuff for a weekend (so large, but not mahoosive) and it has to be funky. No black, navy or brown. It would be nice if it had a print (maybe retro) and would be nice if turquoise, pink or orange.

Any ideas anyone?

Have you done a search on Kipling bags? They are funky and come in different bright colours.

Eek! I like all of them. Just done a search on Kipling and like very much. I think the Roxy ones are a bit more 'me'. I'd like to look IRL so I can see the size of them. All this talk of litres means nothing to me. I wonder if there is a stockist in Cardiff...

TK Maxx tend to have a lot of funky coloured bags in, sometimes in the mens dept.

I like this one, but I think it's a bit small.

Stunning. I think on this one though I am going to have to see it IRL before I buy. I will now have the shame of being a grown woman going into surf shops where I will be the oldest person to walk through the door by about 15 years.

Well, I braved the surf shops and they don't have what I am looking for. They are too small. The only thing I saw which was 'ok' was a Kipling one in raspberry. It is a lovely colour and just the right size, but I sort of wanted a patterened one. I didn't try the outdoors-ey places yet, I will give them a go tomorrow. I doubt I'll find what I'm looking for there either. I don't know whether to spend £55 on the Kipling one which is nice enough, or spend less on a boring black one and maybe order the large Roxy one for the future.
